Stakeholders
Throughout the company, we continue to focus on engagement with stakeholders at all levels, to identify common interest and discuss ways of working together. We regard all stakeholder groups as important, but in particular, our employees are central to the success of our business.In our regular engagement with stakeholders, CR related matters form part of our discussions as appropriate. The information derived from the stakeholder 2007 review was used to define the structure, content and communication of last year’s CR report. Following positive feedback on the method of reporting we propose to continue in the same format.
CR Reports are now published and circulated according to the needs of interested groups, including shareholders, employees, local authorities, consultants and retailers. A printed summary is produced and distributed to shareholders, partners and other interested parties. This is also made available at our shopping centres for the general public. A more detailed report is posted to the corporate website, including data of special interest to stakeholders wanting a deeper understanding of our CR credentials.
We continue to seek constructive input from a number of key internal and external stakeholders, including employees, local authorities, public interest groups, investors and retailers.
